These DC combiner boxes connect solar-array strings to the inverter through a combined protection and switching arrangement. Individual inputs use DC fuse protection, with PV-specific surge protection and a high-voltage DC circuit breaker at the output. Anti-reverse protection and monitoring for individual strings are optional.
MC4 input connectors and waterproof output terminals support the selected cable arrangement. Spray-coated steel enclosures are available with different input counts, internal layouts and top-cover configurations for outdoor PV installations.
